296 LMGT3 situation after two hours

Two hours into the 93rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which kicked off with former tennis champion Roger Federer waving the starting flag, the number 21 Vista AF Corse entry is the leading Ferrari 296 LMGT3. It currently occupies eleventh place with Alessio Rovera at the wheel, following a stint by François Heriau.

The number 57 Kessel Racing car is in thirteenth position, now driven by Japan’s Takeshi Kimura after taking over from fellow factory driver Daniel Serra. Sixteenth Thomas Flohr that has taken over from Ferrari driver Davide Rigon in the number 54 Vista AF Corse 296 LMGT3 and is closely pursuing him. 

The number 193 Ziggo Sport Tempesta entry is in 18th place, hampered by a collision during Christopher Froggatt’s stint. Jonathan Hui is now at the wheel. Nineteenth place, lies the number 150 Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari, which lost ground following a spin caused by being rear-ended by car number 33, which later received a 10-second pit stop penalty. Official driver Lilou Wadoux had previously staged an impressive climb to eleventh after starting from 21st on the grid.
